It’s all about ME…. I have been creating since I can remember. My grandmother instilled in me my passion to create and gave me plenty of opportunities to explore my creative side. For me, it’s as essential as breathing. I wear many hats throughout the month with responsibilities including illustration, property management for our Lofts On Belmont, teaching at Ivy Tech, and watching our 2-year-old grandson. Playing with our 2-year-old grandson brings me the greatest joy. Teaching and working in 3D brings me the greatest fulfillment.

You never know when you’ll be stricken with a creative jolt so here are a few tips to be prepared.

  • Keep paper and pencil handy at all times.
  • Don’t be intimidated by all of the GREAT art out there. Be inspired!
  • Do the research and try to get all you can into your illustration.
  • Make sure you eat. There are times I’ll work a full day and forget to eat. That exemplifies how excited I get when creating because I LIKE TO EAT.
